Has any one had any problem with there tow command break controller? I have a 2005 6.0L that has 6000 miles on it. Last week my wife and I took a trip to ffice<st1:state w:st="on"><st1 =""></st1></st1:state> with our 30ft travel trailer (2002 keystone Bobcat). Well by the time I hit <st1:state w:st="on"><st1 ="">Kentucky</st1></st1:state> my message display would flash trailer disconnected or trailer fault and the trailer break controller would flash red. At first I pulled over and checked the connection to the trailer but it was fine. I then strapped the connection to the truck with a small bungee cord. Now this connection would come and go with out warning. Some times bumpy roads would affect it and other times they would not. If you have any thought I would like to know. I also plan on trying another trailer to see if I get the same effects.

Reason: junk
You might try cleaning all of the connections on both the trailer plug and the truck recepticle. Over time, they will get drity and oxidize, thus, the connections get weak or non existant. Anytime I have trouble with any of the trailer electrical, I look there first.
If that isn't it, I'd just take it in.
Sorry I am not any better help, mine works flawlessly.
Thanks for the reply, however when the trailer was a week old I went under it with a tube of silicone and sealed up all of the connections. Last night I checked all of the connection on both the truck and the trailer and I did not find any thing that was suspect. I am at a loss. I will say that when it is working this is the best breaking system I have ever seen. It stops so much better then I old 2003 F250. I love this truck!
