Texas emmision laws?
What are the laws concerning the year 1989? I want to put a highflow cat on my F150. I already have a racing muffler,stock cats are still there. A lot of you guys are froim texas,what do you think? Thanks.

Looks like you may have to be OEM or close.
Research your cat purchase. Some OEM are dual stage or something tricky.
Make sure the function is the same and you should be good.
The mfg should be able to tell you if their product functions the same as your stocker. They may also have CARB or EPA certs.
