Ed, Thanks for the help, the last truck I set up was an '85 and things have changed a bit since then!! The axle = C5. While I was looking at that I saw "SPR" = 94A, is that the type of springs?

"C5" under "axle code" in this '91 Helms-Ford manual I have sez that is a 6,250-lb. axle with a 4.10 ratio, which sounds about right for your setup. "94A" doesn't tell me very much except part nos.--no spring rates or capacities. Lo siento mucho.

C-5 is also a limited slip, and usually the axle limit is matched with the springs that go with it. You can look at the federal sticker, and look at the Total GVW and then look at individual load limits.
