I'm getting ready to install a new wiper motor and I just wanted to see if their was any special tools or tricks I should now about ahead of time.

What year are you putting it on?? I just put one in my '94 F-150 and all I needed was a 10mm and 8mm(?? I think) and a lot of patience. On mine the motor connects to the wipers behind the firewall and it's a trick to get out.

 

It's going on a 1991. I heard I might have to take the hood off.

 

I got it in ....no probs.
