I think the white piece is broke at the top... is this the common failure of the shift indicator prob.

Does anyone know the replacement part number?

Thanks

Very common take it apart and shim it with some washers on the back side, so it does not rely on the broken piece. You really don't need to be able to ever adjust this once you get it set. Good luck I can take a picture if you need it for assistance.

Hey I added a gallery with 2 pictures of my fix. All I used was two small nuts on the opposite side of where the thumb wheel used to be. I also removed the rest of the broken tab. Hope this helps.

The part number for the fix is XL3Z-7A110-AA, and it cost $20 from Ford.

Guys make sure that both white plastic arms are there before you leave Ford with the new part. Ford seemed to have sold me an already broken one and I did not realize it until I had in in my expy already. I ended up rigging it up with a crap load if gasket sealer so that it keeps tension. Seems to be holding good so far.
