Either that or they wanted to tow something like ummmmmm..maybe a fifth wheel that even after being raised 4" still didn't allow for enough clearance. Just because you guys like that "**** in the air" look doesn't mean everyone does. I thought it was kewl when I was 16, but not now. Between the rediculously high bedsides and the butt high attitude you can't even get to stuff in the bed. All my buddies driving chebbies can reach right in and get whatever they need.

Who said anyhting about lifting it i sure didn't all i was suggesting is keep the stock height and i don't like the high lifted trucks either unless it is just a rock crawler. And let me guess all your friends driving the chebbies have them lowered

*I* didn't say anything about lifting it. I *LOWERED* mine 2" in the rear. And all of my buddie's trucks are stock. Ford made a mistake with the higher bed sides on the 04-05. I love my truck, but it's impossible to get anything in or out of the bed without climbing into the bed..I'm 6'2" and it's still a pain.

2004 screw The kit I put in is from Doetsch in california, This was a very easy install 2 and 1/2 hours and could have been faster. The ride doesn't seem to have been hurt at all. Much easyer to get in and out of.Haven't halled a load yey but it has plenty of clearance and I don't forsee any problems. If I have any I will post them on here for anyone that might want to do it to theirs.
I have placed photos in the gallery under 2004 F150 Rick's Ride
