notice decrease in boost

i installed my predator last week and i was around 30 psi right away, the check engine light came on cause of overboost ..now it doesnt even reach 25 psi, unless i am on it for awhile... i have boost gause and trans temp didnt get pryometer yet. so i'm scared that maybe i hurt the turbo. i have stock staight pipe dumped out before the back tire.. so you think my egts got too hot and hurt the turbo??

I'd definitely get a pyrometer not only for the turbo but for the actual engine because if you have continually high egts it can cause the pistons to get soo hot to where the can expand and stick the the cylinder bores and then eventually seizing the engine..

Assuming you had the wastegate actuator mod before the predator, what was your boost without the predator..Also, how do you like your predator besides the "deboosting" that your dealing with?

i have the wastergate unplugged as far as the predator..i love it but its my first experience with a psd so my creditability is not so great..

Unlikely, but possible. What kind of shape is your fuel filter in?

Personally I wouldn't push it very hard until you get that pyro.
