I have an 06 F-250 4x4 FX4 with a V-10. It was built in May 05. I have had the pot hole problem and had an alignment 3 wks ago with no help. I had heard about the tsb and mentioned it to the dealer the 1st. time. They were a little vague about. I finally crawled under it and discovered that I had a bad drag link joint. I put it back in the shop and they started on the tsb. I took them a week to do it. After they finished they also ended up replacing the drag link. I still have the pot hole problem but not as bad. I also ask why the steering shock was not Rancho and got the same dumb look that I got when I ask about the tsb. I'm now shopping for a Rancho replacement.
Bottom line is check your drag link. My truck has 13k on it and it had a bad link. Also think about replacing the shock before you have them do the tsb. The tsb sure makes your truck drive funny on uneven pavement.
This happens to be an old thread, however stick around and someone will be by to answer your question.
