Post Let's see what the WV pack drives....

Just thought I'd start one to give us a chance to post some photos & talk about/brag on our trucks. Mine's a 03 F250 V10 Supercab with a few small add-ons (see sig). Here's a photo of it with our trailer:

F250 & Trailer...

I bought it in Sept/2002 and just turned 20K miles on it. Here's another with my ATV:

F250 and ATV....

I like that last photo because it shows the excellent stock chassis/body clearance on Superduty pickups! Compare that to a new Chevy/GMC pickup and you'll see what I mean!

Post away!

Hi all, my truck details are in my sig, and a few pic's are in my gallery. The pic's are not real good because of the shadows, but will give you an idea of what my truck looks like. These are pre lift, so I will put some updated ones on soon.

Ford 351 air cleaner, this will give me the warm air inlet

They all sound good. So far we got a 300 inline, a 5.4 6-speed and a 6.8L.

All 4x4s of course. I'm guessing we're not going to see a whole lot of 2wds given where we live! I know a 2wd pickup would be pretty much useless to me. My wife has a 4wd Trailblazer...just couldn't talk her into buying something non-Chevy. Oh well, at least it's not a Dodge!

5_labsownus,

How long ago did you get your '82? Looks like you been busy with it.

Hello All

Its nice to finally see a WV chapter. I visit the boards collecting info all the time but don't really post much.

My rides consist of a

1986 F150 Supercab long bed w/ 302 and 4X4. Just got it a few months ago and like it alot, It does have a few extra's

The other one is my 2003 Limited Edition Escape Gotta love it also almost a yr old and only 4000 miles on it

Mountainhound I agree on the 2wd thing I HAD a 2wd Ranger and it was pointless around here.

Lots of Ford Escapes I see. Those are pretty popular around here too.

I'll be back around in a few days-we are moving (staying in WV ) and I'll have the computer disconnected for a few days.

I am back in P-Burg now there is definately alot of nice trucks around. Mine is the only one around with the Ram air hood and the custom tailgate (airbrushed FORD with flames ) it is Red & Grey. I have only had it for a little while but have my 4inch lift on order and will be putting it on when the weather permits. I also have fender flares and a few other things coming for it also

My father-in-law passed along to me an '85 F150 4x4 300I6 w/ 185,000 miles on it. I have since (4 years) put almost 12,000 on it and it is still running strong. It is requiring a little bit of TLC to keep it in good working order but not as much as some older cars of the same area I would imagine.
I currently reside in the Eartern Panhandle of WV. Inwood. Not a whole lot of times here that we need the ol' 4wd...'cept for this winter...jeesh. M' poor truck hasn't been acting right what with having to actually use the 4WD so much, Ha!

96 Black XLT Sport. 351. Drive it everday. I had a 2 wheel drive XLT Ranger and it was one fun truck. 96 Black XLT with Splash?Sport suspension, 4.0 v6 and 5 speed it was like having a Mustang with a bed!! It never had trouble in the snow v6 had enough power to get me out when 4 banger 4x4 were getting stuck. Summer time toy is a 73 mach 1 with 351 Cobra Jet and C6 auto. Maybe if we have enough nice trucks we could bring them to the All Ford Show and Chili bash in Charleston in September. I have been taking the Mach but the Bronco is daily driver so it doesn't go. There are some nice trucks there but never a Bronco. I have a line on a 79 that I may make an offer on and fix it for show and go.
