how much would you pay...

.Prices vary by region so I can't answer that. I'd look on kbb.com, nada.com, edmunds.com, and local publications. I'd look at wholesale and private party prices, be honest about condition when examining the price, then deduct the price of any needed repairs from that price. Compare this against the prices in publications and finalize your price, along with a small range of flexability. Hold tough, but only after you have been as honest as possible in establishing your price.
Is this truck on a "secondary" car lot? Often times, those guys overprice their cars/trucks and charge pathetic interest rates due to the fact that many of their customers have lousy credit. They prey on people with bad credit, knowing they can't get into another vehicle any other way. If this truck is on one of those lots, you might have a real hard/impossible time negoting a fair price. They got it cheap and can afford to hold out.
