I make a habit of calling all my local boneyards whenever I buy a used vehicle to see who has something I can use if I ever need it. Today I called em all asking about 96 Broncos for parts. Almost everywhere I called said they had none or 1. I then hit the motherload... The last yard on my list said he had 26, 1996 Broncos out back for parts and well over 100 in various other years. I'm planning to go by there this coming weekend just to scope out what's available. If anyone has something they've been looking for and just can't seem to find let me know here and i'll bring the list with me. I'll bring my digital camera so I can take pics of any parts you guys may be looking for and send them to you for your inspection.

PS... If the weather is super nice this coming weekend I'll may postpone the hunt a week or two to go fishing.

 

93 with dark Charcoal interior, need a few odd parts. Light Grey won't work for me.

I could use a pair of tan front seat belts for an 1989 EB (looking for the parts that come up from the floor). Mine are both cracked at the top.

 

I could use a non-cracked dash pad, grey in color. Its the padded peice that runs in front of the passenger seat, above the glove box and to the stereo.

I'm lucky to find one around here. The truck yard doesn have a 96 with a repro tailgate in perfect shape, except for a shattered window. They wanted $200 for it.
The interior was pretty well gone, along with the nose and hood.

It's no big deal for me to do this. I like walking around the boneyards and looking for needed items. Haggling a deal is plenty of fun. I'm not going to buy anything this first visit unless it's for me. If I find something that somebody is looking for i'll snap a pic of it and get a price. I'll then send you the pic and we can go from there. I'm located in Virginia Beach, VA. This boneyard is pretty close to my girlfriends house so I can go by there as often as needed.

Hey Fish....what yard has all the Broncos? I'm in Newport News and trying to find some nice red seats... really hoping for some red leather. Hmmm...did the EB's even offer red leather?

This boneyard is in Chesapeake, VA. The name is Johnsons Mustang. They only deal with Fords. Years ago I used to go there often when I had a Mustang and always remembered seeing lots of trucks there too.

Looks like my hunt there won't be happening this weekend. The weather is looking great and the big fish are calling my name. My Bronco is in "cherry" condition so I don't need anything for it but I do promise i'll make it by there for a look around soon.
