Hats off to the Time Fastener Company and their Big-Sert product. I repaired my number six cylinder, which spit the plug with their kit. The kit performed as advertised, no problems, well worth the money!!
I also checked my remaining plugs and found three others that were loose. One was so loose it could be removed by hand! The valve train noises, which I'm told are a precursor to plug ejection are gone.
I am still pursuing the issue with Ford. I should have a web site dedicated to this problem (Ford arrogance) up shortly.
Big Orn,
I had read somewhere that people reported the engine making a ticking sound before the sparkplug ejected. My engine sounded like an egg beater. Now it is quiet. This must be due to the plugs getting loose and letting the valve train noise out? If I am wrong I welcome advice as to what was making the sound.
Take care

Makes sense. The ticking is the compression chamber releasing via the loose plug, I suppose.
