I know that a turbo works by forcing air into the motor. More air , more fuel, more muscle. With that in mind could I take the smog pump and feed it into the airbox? Would this give me better performance? My project truck is an 88 ford f250 with a efi 460.

 

nope, the air pump doesnt put out that much air to feed any engine, except maybe a 5hp. so if you have a gokart or lawn mower that needs more power
