Finally Found my Mustang!!!!
Well, its one of those once in a lifetime opportunities, a 1966 Mustang, complete with engine(disassembled) tranny (fresh rebuilt auto, C4??) and all the interior and exterior parts. Body is in near mint condition. All for $800!!!!!! The only problem is, I would have to assemble it, all of it; engine, interoir/exterior, everything. To me, thats alot of fun. BUT......we have no place to store it, dont have the money to buy any big replacement parts and the biggest problem, I DONT HAVE THE MONEY !!! GAAAAHHHH!!!! Its driving my NUTS!!!! I have always wanted a 96 Mustang, and this is as close as I'm going to get to having one. If I didnt love my truck as mush as I do I would trade it, but (almost) no force on earth can make me give up my truck!!! And no, I will not give up the location, incase any of you Mustang lovers want it too . Anyone else ever had an opportunity like this, does it still haunt you if you didnt take advantage of it??

Got a 68 in 1985 ( my first car ) for $500. I LOVED THAT CAR but I needed more dependable transportation and sold it. I will forever kick myself for not keeping it, and working harder to get the money for the other car to drive back and forth to college. Even worse it was a 4 door escort. Not a bad car, it actually saved my life, but it was no Mustang. Do what you have to do to the car.

The car that struck me the most at our Cruise-In last week was a pristine '69 Chevelle SS396. It wasn't the car that grabbed me so much (it was a nice one, but there was a lot of nice iron there), it was the story behind it. The wife had gotten the car as a High School graduation present. She rode off to college in it, later rode off to her honeymoon in it. That Chevelle carted around three kids in car seats over the years, and later those same kids learned to drive in that car. Last year, they did a frame-off restoration, and it was beautiful...but it was obvious that car was worth far more in the memories that it held than it ever would be in dollars. Go with your heart, you'll never be wrong.

Sorry, it's a 69, not a 66. I was mis informed. SO, it is a 69 with a 351. I'm going to talk with my boss and see if I can store it in the "tool shed"(big pole barn) and work on it there. Hes a big ford guy, so I'll be suprised If he says no. The guy who owns it now was going to restore it but lost interest. He has extra body pannels and all the parts I would need to build it. Kinda like a kit car. I might need a few small things or a wiring harness but thats it. Interior is a bit rough, but like me dad said "Hell, just make it look good on the outside, build up the engine, throw a carpet inside and put the bucked seats in, and LAY SOME RUBBER!! How powerful was the 351 in 69, and how porweful could I make it??

If anyone is interested in buying a Rare 1969 Mach 1 with a 428 super cobra jet, and has $48,500 dollars to spend, I'll get the info. It is a white stock Mustang Mach 1 for sale, and it is on display along the road in Lebanon Pa. on Rt 72 next to A&M Pizza, about 5 miles north of PA turnpike interchange 266. The car looks really nice but is not perfect mint, but will give any Stang buff a lump in their ..............
throat.
How about MemOrex? you got the money??? I would have paid 20,000 bucks when I saw it, then I called the phone # and almost had a heart attack when the guy asked for 48 big ones!!!!
