tranny problems

It sound like a lot of wear on your tranny, there is a small pinion designed to sinchronize gears, if it has wear, shift is geting harder.
Any way you'll need removed the tranny and have checked...

oh and in reference to the noise from my 5speed, it only occurs when i'm coasting and have the clutch engaged and am trying to put it in second, and when it is just idleing without the clutch engaged.

I recomend use AOD, AOD-E, E4OD or C6 + some aftermarket overdrive

i wish i could pull the tranny right now, but this is my daily driver. The tranny still shifts pretty good, and doesnt pop outta gear or nothin, so i'm gonna have to wait till i have some down time to pull it and take it to the shop, which really sucks
