Gearing Change

I have a 94 f-150 with inline 6. I have 31bfg all terrains on them. Ive been reading about gear changes in the dif. Should I change my gear ratio, and will it help me out at all?? I want more accelaration off the line and be able to spin the tires. I have already put an exhaust and k&n on. I will be putting a tb spacer on too. Thanks

What trans and diff gear do you have now? You can put 4.56's in and spin away and have a 55 MPH top end if you'd like. You don't really have a wheel spin and acceleration unit there with a 300 six.....

I got an E40d. Not sure on the gearing.

what gears are in it now?
If it has 2.75-3.08s get rid of them. You should be able to 31" tires EASILY with 3.50s/3.55s

well look at your door driver side and give the guys the numbers they should be able to tell you what it is. As for spinning you should be able to easily. Btw don't buy a throttle body spacer they do absolutely natta except take up space for efi's.
