57 gas tank relocate?

Go to the link below. It is a tech article by John Niolon on how he installed a Mustang tank between the frame rails aft of the differential. There won't be many changes between a 53 and a 57. He gives links to manufacturer's as well so you can do your own research.

The only problem with moving them to the back is that they hang down a bunch, and look slightly un-sightly.
I'm wondering if that little area in front of the tire, under the bed would be an adequate spot for a home made gas tank. Or maybe fine one that fits?
I also checked into saddle tanks off of a mid-70's CHEVROLET pick up... it would require removing the step in the cab, boxing that in... but if you ran one on each side, it could give you a LOT of capacity... Just don't tell 60 minutes you're installing one.
