Hi again archer1! We haven't gone - yet! We're looking to go sometime this summer. Check out the website - it's an awesome place! I loved it!
Which truck will you bring? Looks like we have the same truck - do you have the long bed too? These are tight trails but I managed them w/little trouble. You'd have fun in either truck I'm sure.

Awesome archer1! Can't wait till summer! It'll be cool to have another full size on the trails too! We'll show those H2's what a REAL truck is capable of!

Let the H2's go first, and clear the brush, I really don't want to paint my truck for the 3rd time!!

LOL! Funny you should say that since I was the lead truck on our trip & the 2 H2's we had were WAY at the back! I did all the "clearing" & they followed behind! I so wished I had a sign on my tailgate saying BUILT FORD TOUGH - MAKE WAY FOR A REAL TRUCK COMING THROUGH for the Jeeps & H2's behind me! ROFL! Even the Freelander thought my truck was impressive & out did the others!

Hey, I'd like to get in on this, my only concern is I lost my limited slip rear, is open good enough for these trails?

everything is pretty easy..it's a nice trail ride thru the 15,000 acre park. some downhills, uphills..slight rocks to crawl over..some muddy areas. It's a nice ride thru the park to see what the park has to offer, a nice enjoyable day. nothing toooooo hard. Cowlady has been there before.

Hi ST! It really is a great time & yes you can get in on it. How far are you from Buffalo? When I did a search on Mapquest they list 2 Shirley's - Erie & Sufflok counties! I'm thinking we can convoy down & pick people up along the way at designated spots. Feel free to email me if you want!

yes, I am in the Suffolk one so I think I'd have ta meet you there, doubt the convoy wants to swing that far east... lol. But if my clunker is healthy I'd love to be there, have done anything other than beach offroading in years.

Cool ST! Maybe you can get a NYC area group to follow each other there! But 1st, PLEASE go vote for the NY Chapter Leader. As I said I am not asking anyone to vote for me but I AM asking everyone to vote! It's really important - the site needs to elect someone & we need to spark interest & cohesiveness too!
That goes for you too archer1!!!!!!!! LOL!
