Can you get your BOM off the axle and check the link above your post?

 

I know this is an old thread, but in case anybody cares, I seem to remember that Ford's first use of the word "moonbeam" to describe one of its products was for the 1965 Bronco and F-100 4X4. I think it referred specifically to the coil spring, 2 leading link, Panhard rod front suspension. I have always wondered whether these setups have much trouble from using the axle as an anti-roll bar (twisting the axle when the body rolls). I have also wondered how strong the '78-79 (I think) moonbeams using a similar front suspension were.

 

I am having trouble finding parts for my monobeam axle on my 2003 E550. Ford has discontinued making them. Can anyone help me?
