Please help. Can I fix it?
I have a 92' F-250 xlt, a while ago the abilty to flash my brights by pulling on the turn sigal bar quit working, tonight the turn signals quit working. The dealer says it is the dimmer swith, or something but and entire unit. The part itself costs $80 and the want $50 for labor. Money is extremely tight right now, so can I do this myself? Thanks.

Daywalker, It is not too hard to replace the signal/high beam switch. It is just held in by a couple of screws. It is a complete unit that just plugs in to a wire harness. The thing is that you will need a steering wheel puller to pull the steering wheel. Approx $20.00 to rent if you don't have access to one. I have not had to do it to my 92' f-250 4x4, but I guess it is just around the corner. Good luck. ... Jakegypsum // Ford fleet, soup to nuts.
