Well I guess it is good to look at the bright side but I would still like to see a nice 80º day.

Hey Crumm...I think this weather is gonna last a while longer

Wes just called me from the fire station and they had 3 accidents on the Parks down around Nenana...in just the last few hours!

One even had a fatality, guess it has been snowing all day down there...the snow must have covered some ice still out there, plus probably driving too fast for the road conditions.

Yeah the closer you get to Anchorage the worse they drive About a week ago I heard that they got 12" of snow down there and had over 160 accidents in one day

I do see the sun today and the TV guide channel says it will be in the 40's tomorrow. To bad I wont be here to see it

Guess you weren't here for the year when we got 12" of snow in MAY
Yea and we had breakup in March of that year.

It will end when it's good and ready and not a moment before.

Hawkins is right...the only predictable thing about the weather in Alaska is that we will have some!

I've been up here for 37 years and I've seen about everything Alaska can throw at you. I've seen it snow in July, seen grass growing in December, seen breakup come two or three times in a single year... ya just never know about the weather up here!

Spring will come...it may come in June, but it will come! Alaska teaches a person many lessons - starting with patience!

More snow, more snow, more snow, oops, sorry crumm more sun, more sun, more sun. Ah what the heck it doesnt matter we have it piled up 20-30 feet out front so it will be around for awhile. I would settle for melt in town and snow in the mountains so I can play longer.

I put the snow blower away two weeks ago for the summer. Was so darn nice that I stopped at fur and feathers, and purchased a hunting and fishing license, and darn, if I was not greeted by moose as I left their building on Raseberry.

Last Monday 14" blocked my driveway and the snow blower is back in service. Maybe I well be able to put that tool away this coming weekend. Also it would be nice to see the snow disappear from around the truck camper. Am ready to try out that new fishing pole.

Been here 11 years and I am much more impatient than I use to be. When does it go the other way?

Ahhhhhhhh so nice today.. I even got out the pressure washer and blew all the road grime off all three trucks(top and bottom)then got out a bucket of suds and shined them up. Nothing like a day in the sun to adjust the cabin fever attitude. I am sure folks down south would think we are nuts outside in a t-shirt when it is 45 degrees but it seems like 80 to me. As I was drying the last rig just before dark the water was starting to freeze a little.
