48-50 F-1 owners around Grand Rapids?

Anyone in this area got the above mentioned truck modified with a 302 and a Ford 9" rear end. Would like to get some ideas for my truck and see what others are doing.

tellico racing is gaining momentum as a positive member of FTE.
I have never done it, I do know where there is a donor truck though. It is a 79 with a 302 and a 9".

Hey fordor,
This is Mike and i live in Henderson ,Mi. I own and built a 1948 f1 with a 3' chop top,lowered ,with a 289ho w/automatic trans.I used the buiscuit type motor mounts,there availible through speedway for around $65 for the mounts and brackets i used a mustang ll rack assembly. good luck ,Mike
