Should i use drop blocks?

Should i use drop blocks?

Well, after getting my chassis all settled, it looked like the rear was sitting too high for my taste.I set the bed on the frame and it was sitting too high still.I need to drop the rear about 2-3 inches still.I already flipped the axle on top of the springs.Im thinking of running 1 1/2 or 2 inch blocks in the rear.what do you guys think? Im running 6 leafs in the rear,i do haul a engine or 4 wheeler from time to time so i dont want to remove any leafs. It looks like i will have plenty of clearance from the axle to the frame(c-notched).

Watch out for the rear end hitting the bottom of the bed. I would like to see how low the truck is sitting, got any pictures up? Maybe move the brackets up in the frame and lower it that way. Would lowering blocks move the rear away from the spring and let the springs twist easier?

Check out my gallery, you may be able to get a better glimpse there. Im not too worried about spring wrap cause im running a 223 for now...

You could cut a small section of 2x4 to check clearences before buying the blocks.

flip the rear spring mount brackets from back to front, mount them on top of the frame instead of the bottom, move the front brackets to the rear, add a bracket to the top of the rear rail and raise the spring bracket up, I usually let about 1/2 of the bracket be higher than the top of the rail, cheap and effective
