Appropriate timing RMP
I've got a '94 ranger xl, 3.0L V6.
Recently replaced the distributor, so had to mess with the timing.
For lack of a published timing RPM, timed the ignition for 10 degrees BTDC at a warm idle.
Seemed to work great for a few hundred miles, but now the truck seems to occasionally miss or run rough at higher RPMS.
What is the right RPM for setting the timing?
