Question Supercab Rear Seat/Rear Window Too Close

I am new too this forum most of what I see is good stuff, not alot of BS about other makes. Thankyou for that.

I recently bought a 2000 F-150 SC 4.6 ltr 4x2. Only had 26,000 miles. I traded in my 91 f-150 XLT 4x4 standard cab 4.9 ltr w/200,000 miles and still running good. Now, with the supercab, I can have my whole family with me. The problem is, my kids(5 and 7yo) continually hit their head on the back glass.

Any suggestions other than going to a full-size 4-door pickup?

Otherwise, great running rig. I get 22 mpg on the highway and 17 in town.

I haven't looked for it myself, but I have seen a sort of cab extension that goes back from the rear window back about 1 ft. creating a shelf with the rear window back further, and adding a window on each side. I will see what I can do to find a link or something.

I've read some post about the same problem. I remember someone's solution was to have some head rests added to the back. Not sure if it was a bolt on or custom job.

My kids don't seem to hit their heads in the F150 but they do in my Ranger. Mind you, the rear seats sit sideways. My wife tells me that I drive the F150 like an old lady but the Ranger is a 5 speed and I am kind of hard on it. That might say something.
