limited edition?
We bought a 1988 ranger,4 cyl.2 wheel drive. It has a tinted plexi-glass window that is removeable to make it into, a sort of convertable.We were told this was factory made.Would like to know if there was some site we could go,so we could check vin numbers to see if this is accurate.Help please!!!!

Well, I've never heard of nor seen such a thing from the factory. But back in the mid 80's, there were a few companies that made "convertible" kits for pickups. Guess what group of people REALLY liked buying them? Rebuilders that bought totalled out trucks that had been rolled and didn't want to fix the cab. Just some food for thought.
