Product to keep tan leather from getting dirty so quickly?

Can someone tell me if there is a product that protects the tan leather in my 05 Lariat from getting dirty so quickly? There has got to be a way to do it. I know on Toyota's leather packages this problem does not exist.

Someone mentioned mink oil possibly doing the trick. Any ideas out there? If I had known that it would get a gray haze on it so quickly I would have selected gray or black leather instead.

What do you mean by the leather getting dirty? Is it just picking up dirt from your jacket and pants or is it picking up dye from your clothing?

The reason I ask is that I have a Barbour oil jacket that I use for fishing and hunting and was wondering if it would stain the leather.

Cheers

I don't have a remedy. This just confirms my suspicion. When test driving a new Lariat I noticed the tan color leather was already dirty looking (especially where your pants rub getting in and out) and the test truck had less than 100 miles on it.It sure is a nice color.I went with the dust and lint showing black.Good Luck!

Sure it wasn't from dealership personnel that get a little grimmy and get in the lot vehicles to move them around?

Probably was, but I just thought my dog would keep it trashed.I think the tan color is very classy though.

My truck is two months old. When I first noticed the gray haze on the tan leather it was after I got a modification installed and thought it was the installer just not covering the seat. However I now know that it happens from my pants, which are mostly suit pants and yes it is mostly on the edge where you get in and out of the truck.

Fortunately it cleans off very easily, but I was hoping to have a solution that didn't require me to wipe it down with leather cleaner every few days. I hope that as the leather "breaks in" it will get more resistant to getting dirty. The tan leather is very nice looking otherwise.
