UPDATE: plugs and wire for Rman
I just changed out my plugs and wires today, autolite copper cores (5144) and autolite wires.
Anyhow, once shes warmed up, the idle gets a bit rough again. I also knocked my power wire off, so I have no power to my amp. Anyhow, I definitely hear a rattling sound, a hard, dense, rattling at real low rpm's and sometimes idle. Is this pinging?
Anyhow, what next? Clean the MAF and IAT? fuel injector cleaner? Sea Foam? billet antenna??
Needless to say, i was totally stoked until a about 30 minutes of driving, and i notice my idle isn't "smooth as buttuh" like i thought it would be...
Is the engine just naturally rough and i have forgotten? I swear it was smoother than this...it's definitely not AS rough...but yet not silky smooth love, uh, i mean idle
Thanks

It's just my .02, but I have had no luck with Autolite plugs in any ford. I know there are people here that run them with no problems, but I tried them in my '02 4.2, and it ran almost as bad as the Bosch platinums. Pull a couple of plugs, and see if they are burning clean (light tan color) or are they darker in color?
