FINALLY some pics of the '05!
They are not great, but at least it's something to look at.
I do the best I can with my $40 digital camera. I hope to buy a better camera soon. If and when I get one, I'll put up some better pics. In the mean time, these will just have to do.
Thanks and sorry for the loooonnnggg delay.
edit: I had just washed it and the water left on the truck/tires makes the pics look even worse.

Homer,
regarding speed / power comparisons... the jury is still out.
I think the biggest difference comes with the 2000 being a 5 speed and the 2005 being an auto.
Plus, the 2000 has a MAC intake and weighs about 400 lbs less.
If the 2005 had a 5 speed, I'd say it would be neck and neck with the 2000.
As it is now, I'd give the 2000 a slight advantage if the two were to race.
I sure like the convenience of the auto, but am not sure that all around, I wouldn't prefer to have a 5 speed in the '05.
Either way, for $14,500, it is a good truck. I still drive the 2000 a lot. I use it for my long trips (to keep from putting so many miles on the new truck) and for baseball practice and games (less concerned about getting mud on the seats of the 2000 ).
Just for kicks, yesterday, I put the 2000 thru a quick high rpm run thru the gears, up thru 4th. For 160,000 miles, it is a sweet running truck!
