New guy here!

Hey fellas. I just joined FTE tonight after buying a 2000 Super Duty with the 7.3 PSD last week. I'm probably one of the younger guys on the site (21). It's cool being one of the few young guys in my town with one of these trucks. The truck has 138K on it, but as we all know, that's NOTHING. The most weight it'll be pulling is approx. 6000lbs (snowmobiles and trailer). Anyway, I was just wondering if anybody has any tips, recommendations, or steps for maintaining it. Things such as oil, fuel filter and air filter changing intervals are things i need to know all about. I know the basics about the truck, but it doesn't hurt to know more. Also, what things should I look at mechanically to make sure the truck is going to keep running mint? Any things I should add to the coolant or fuel? Tell me everything you guys know. I'd appreciate it!

The link above is an excellent reference source for someone like yourself. Welcome aboard. If you get familiar with the search function you will find that almost every question has been asked already, but there's always someone who can add a little more info. Don't be shy to ask or share, just be cautious following any advice that I may give....
