Question exhaust vibration felt at gas peddle

Has anyone ever felt a buzz come through the gas pedal due to the exhaust? It seems that when i get on the gas and the exhaust starts to "growl" it seems for a spilt second or two a vibration buzzes through the gas pedal. I have an air raid intake and at first thought it might be from that when i got on the gas. It isnt a shudder or sever vibe like everyone is talking about. It just happens when i start giving more gas. I couldnt find anything loose on the truck. The truck has dual exhaust out the back but not sure what model. I bought it with 6000 miles on it and it was already a year old for 23000. Any info would be great.

Thanks

funny, I felt the same slight vibration in my gas peddle, but did not feel it until I recently added my Airaid intake. I've had Magnaflow dual side exit (in front of rear tire) catback for at least 5000 miles or so. But just 2 weeks ago I added the Airaid, and immediately on the first test drive notice the gas peddle vibration.

is it possible that you may be getting some resonance in the engine from the relatively large increase in CFM at the intake? The Airaid is a huge gain over the stock filter assembly, with a smooth bore tube supplying the air to the intake. The sudden rush of air may be causing it, with the vibration subsiding as the air pressure regulates in the intake tube. Just a hunch.

Yes, I think this flutter you are feeling is due to the air increase with the drive by sensor system. No longer are you in control of the throttle assembly. With the added cfm, the computer still has the stock throttle parameters to work with. It is probably constanty adjusting to meet this new cfm, and you feel that in the pedal.

Thanks for the answers. Is this something in all of the intakes by chance? i might end up swapping it out for another.

Would this be something with just the Airaid intake?
