I've never seen a prepayment penalty when financing through Ford. But your dealer might cut you a better deal than $1000 off if you have the cash upfront.
From what I understand, there is no penalty to the purchaser to prepay. I think the dealer loses their % kickback on the financing deal if you pay it off before 3 months.

For what its worth, I found this while searching through the New Buyer forum:
"There's no penalty for paying off a loan early, and there's no way Ford can make you pay back a rebate once you've used it. Don't worry about it- go ahead and pay off the loan. I'd believe FMCC before a salesperson/ F&I person when it comes to stuff like this."
