Plumb in a connection for a BBQ grill tank so you can get an "emergency" fill at any 7-11 etc. That will get you home if you have a switchover problem.
You mean put a connection for a BBQ into the Vapour port on the tank?
No,
Its a simple short hose that hooks to your BBQ tank and hooks onto your fill spout weither its on the tank or mounted somewhere else.
I have a 85 f150 300 i6 4x4 on propane, i get a average of 10-12 mpg
the hose is cheap and most propane burners carry one under the seat for emergencies as running outa propane isnt like running outa gas..
I have a 180 liter tank mounted in the back of my truck, its big enough you can forget about hauling a camper and in a short box like mine turns it into a poor moving truck.
I never had the truck when it was on gas but I find it way way under powered.
And i dont know what there talking about with the cooling system there. Propane burns cooler then gas. infact my truck has a hard time running at temperature. I have a mechanicle gauge and been through the whole cooling system maintenance routine.
Oh ok, You are talking about a dump line, No I got it. As far as them runing cooler, they may to a point but once you start uppint the compression you have to really watch them, as with any built engine.
