efi heater hose routing

I need some help connecting up my EFI conversion heater hoses to my original broncos cooling system. Unfortunately I didn't remove the parts from the donor vehicle (which might be an 88 mkvii) nor was I able to find a cooling system diagram on-line. I'm not familiar which parts of the cooling system is discharge or which may be the suction side. Anyway my intake has two black steel pipes which are intergrated together. The bottom 3/4" pipe screws to front of the intake just behind the water outlet and runs across the to the back. The upper 5/8" pipe feeds the throttle spacer plate. The back of these two pipes I think goes to my heater core? Where do I connect my stock heater control valve to, and does the front of the 5/8 tube go to my water pump?? thanks for any replies..

The pipe that is open at the front of the intake should have a section of hose that goes to the water pump. There should be 2 -1/4" hoses going to the EGR spacer. At the rear, the bottom hose outlet is where I have the heater control valve plumbed into. I used a 90* molded heater hose from the pipe and attached it to a u shaped hose with a 5/8- 5/8" nipple. I attached the water valve there and then hooked up to a regular heater hose that follows the hose from the upper outlet. I tried hooking it up with just the 90* hose, but it put the cable in a bind. You might be able to find a longer cable that would clean it up a little bit. Normally, these hoses are covered by my air cleaner (out of sight, out of mind, I guess ) Eventually, I'm going to be redesigning my dash and I am planning on changing my heater controls over to a vacuum system.

here are a couple of pictures
