3" longer coils
I'm looking to get some clearance for a set of 31x10.50s (or 11.50s) on my '94 XL. Currently, I have no lift of any kind installed and am rolling on a set of 215/70/14s. I would install a 3" body lift, but am wary with throwing off the alignment of my radiator, bumpers, etc. and I would rather not stretch out all the wires and cables and such. Idealy, I would like to lift the supsension. I'd like to know how badly the geometry would be messed up if I put in a set of F-150 coils and lifting blocks under the leaves. I know that because of the I-Beams the tires would tuck a bit in, but how terribly? Also how much longer are the F-150 coils compared to the Ranger coils and how much higher is the backend than the frontend? I could also get a set of those pivot extenders to drop the pivots on the I-Beams down. How much would a set of those run?
Truck details:
1994 Ranger XL
2WD
5 speed
4 cylinder
2.3L
Thanks for everything guys, really appreciate it. Also if anyone has done this to their truck and knows the first hand details on it, I would love any information on where to get these parts and what to expect. Thanks again,
Mike
