86 BALLAST RESISTOR ?'S
converting my 86 351 4bbl to 95 351 efi using stang stuff.getting conflicting info.searched and can't find the any relevant info other than this

.supposedly a 4ft red/green 16gauge wire ??is this correct. I don't see it in any diagrams .I'm assuming It's not needed with EFI.any info on where it starts/ends is greatly appreciated

truck has DS2 factory.found this is this the correct one?does it go right to ign switch?

can i just delete.tap in just before this pink(supposedly )resister .I just need a ignition wire with run /start power which the red/green seems to be(also the wiring color on my ford racing harness)

You should be able to see a coil wire (pink) near the IGN switch which is the other end of the resistance wire.
You truck will just have 2 wires in and 1 wire out (post 15)... and yes this is the feed point you are looking for.
But still, l a relay is the easiest and best choice. The new IGN system will draw more amps and taxes the existing wiring.

The start wire will be the single small wire on the fender mounted starter solenoid.
The run/start can be as easy as removing the wire on the coil positive and using it to power a relay. The relay when energized would provide power to your new IGN system.
