Question Carb float level on a 77 2v 351M

I am going to rebuild my 2v carb on my 351M F150 2WD PU Auto. I bought a rebuild kit and there are 2 float settings. My carb tag number D7TECVAB7D7 is not listed in the instructions. Any ideas?

Thanks Jeff

On all the rebuild sheets I've seen, carb numbers aren't listed. You give the parts store your carb number, and then all you use for the specs on the sheet are year and engine.

If I had to guess, the two float settings you're seeing are wet height and dry height. The dry setting is what you'll use when the carb is off the engine, it's all clean and you're putting it back together. The wet setting would be used if the carb was on the engine and you had to set the float in an emergency (and it's not fun, I might add).
