Carb float level on a 77 2v 351M

On all the rebuild sheets I've seen, carb numbers aren't listed. You give the parts store your carb number, and then all you use for the specs on the sheet are year and engine.
If I had to guess, the two float settings you're seeing are wet height and dry height. The dry setting is what you'll use when the carb is off the engine, it's all clean and you're putting it back together. The wet setting would be used if the carb was on the engine and you had to set the float in an emergency (and it's not fun, I might add).
