SI/DO to DI/DO mufflee

my truck has a SI/DO muffler but the muffler i just received is a DI/DO...can this still be installed on my truck?

Probably the way I'd recommend doing it, is to put a y-pipe on the exhaust before the muffler, that way it splits 1 pipe into 2 before the muffler. Ya gotta use both inlets and both outlets for it to work right. Otherwise, you could use another muffler...
