Scab XL w/ crank front windows

Just had mine in the shop for Butyl pad removal & ask if they'd pull rear door panel to check for window guts. They thought I was crazy BUT once the panel was off I was right. The rear windows have everything you need but the actual hand crank/ we used a torq wrentch & lowered & raised the window w/ ease. They were all amazed & had to call everyone in the shop to see it.

Thanks to whoever it was that started this post awhile ago because I never would have thought to look.

Another reason this is the BEST site out there

Keep the great info coming

that's funny....they put the guts in and never designed a crank to lower the things?

hmmm sounds like you could get one of those aftermarket kits from someplace like JCwhitney and have autorears....with a lil cuttin, wiring and fabrication

My thoughts exactly / I'm glad I waited to by the front kit because now I can get the right kit for all my windows. I'll just have to figure out what to do w/ all the switches. It would be too nice to find a drivers door panel that comes w/ the switchs @ a good price. That would be TOO nice

Asking about the scratch in my armrest..on my loaded '05 XLT 4x4....they told me that they would have to order a whole doorskin...kinda messed up if you ask me...all it needed was the armrest. Might find one that's been wrecked...that might have your interior with power.

kinda gruesome but i know i can find my interior for the most part. Wife emails me to see if i was all right one day a few weeks ago. turns out an unfortunate man got off the highway drove thru a cemetary and flew through the fence back onto the turn off for a bypass. was a big fall probably about 50+ feet. needless to say his airbag and seatbelt didn't save him. that's my truck...I had to go check to see if my truck was still in the parking lot.

turns out he was only a few miles from where i work and about the time i would just be getting to work
