guess maybe it's time for an upgrade

Well I was gonna go to the swap meet in Linclon NE tommorrow but now I have to fix my F250 cause the POS unit bearings ford seen fit to use went out last night at 60mph that was a real ride luckily I managed to not wreck it but couldn't go over 20mph (and that was pushing it) all the way back home

What went out? Wheel bearings...or..?

I have a Taurus from a stupid dealer we could put some miles on .

I'm selling my truck, guys. It's official. I need more gas mileage. I still have the 89 until my friend buys it, and I'll have a Ford mud truck soon enough, so I won't be like nogo and betray Ford completely. Sorry, couldn't help but attack your rice! I dunno what I'll do yet.

Yeah they have a sealed bearing hub unit for front axles on the superduties, and my left one just went out. I replaced the right one about 6months ago but I caught that one before it locked up on the road.

That was nice of Ford wasn't it. At least you didn't wreck it. Looks like its time for an 03 Superduty. Last year of the 444 ^_^.

not all of them but I did find a couple to look at one is a 2002 F350 dually 4x4 7.3psd 4dr lariat, and the other is a 03 F350 4x4 dually psd, extended cab. in the mean time I gotta spend almost $300 for the new bearing, but I got lucky, and it didn't tear out the brake rotors, and caliper but Napa didn't have one in stock today as they sold both of them on Fri, so can't get it until Monday but I think I will tear it apart tomorrow
