Another safety factor is that the modules cut out at ten pounds of force. Tested it just for fun, and tested a stock Ford F-150 Supercrew switch I have laying around. Ten pounds is not enough to kill anything over a Pekinese (sp?).

I also expless closed the passenger window on my right arm. It pushed me up to the top, as I had no leverage. Then it stopped. My wife thought it was funny watching me grope for the switch with my left. No bruise, but it did pinch a little. Might break a one year olds arm, might not. Still interesting to test it.

Funny story, I bought a 20 ton press for my home shop many years ago. My wife, who grew up using bandsaws with no shields, lathes, drill presses, etc. from the time she was 10, had never used a press. She was concerned that it might crush my hand if I made a mistake.
So of course, I stuffed my hand under the ram and started pumping away, yelling bloody murder.
It took her a couple seconds to realize that it only got tighter when I pumped it with my left hand... Then she saw that it moved about a quarter of an inch with each pump... Kinda hard to crush yourself unless you were Olympic grade stupid.

She has never forgiven me, and I make it worse by claiming to be caught in the press whenever I use it.
I also claimed to be caught in the bench vice, but that one she never fell for.

By the way, when I had a garage, I was the guy painting yellow safety lines around everything but the urinal. I also fired a guy once for smoking near a battery.
I'm not the least bit careless around tools, but some things are just plain silly.

Chris,
Darn, caught in the vice again....Help.
