1995 Ford F150 4X4 MILES/GALLON

I just figured out from one trip (68.75 miles) that I am getting 16.5 miles/gallon. This was 110kms for 18.9 liters of gas. This is Imperial gallon so the US gallon would not be as much. Is this good? I have a Mazda Tribute that gets 20miles/gallon or more. Would the average be more if was calculated on a full tank of gas, rather than just one trip?
Tks
95 f150 4.9l auto 164kms

Considering your rig is a 4x thats pretty respectable I'm only getting about 12-13mpg with a 96' F150 2wd 5.8L auto(city driving). The formula for calculating milage doesn't change. number of miles driven divided by amount of fuel added..as long as you fill your tank each time.

By calculating off longer trips, more tanks, its not that your average would necessarily go up or down, but rather be more accurate.

anything over 15+ mph in a 96 and earlier F-series I consider good.

You are getting awesome fuel mileage compared to me. I have a 95 f-150 4x4 with the 5.8 and my mileage went from 12-13 MPG to 6-8 suddenly. Still trying to see if I can find out why.
