I posted a message a couple months ago. I have a 99 F150 4.6 lit. manual 5 speed. When I come to a stop and push the clutch in, I get a 1 cycle surge, it will pull down to 4-5000 and back up to 8-9000, and than re-settle. It will only do it once and only with the clutch in, but at each stop. When it first began it tripped no codes, and the ford garage charged me $80 for that great knowledge. We can make it happen, but no solution for you. I have changed the fuel filter, put system cleaner through it, carb. cleaner, cleaned the MAF, changed the IAC per this site. These seemed to had made a temp. fix. around a week or so. The problem began again, this time a code was tripped, went to auto-zone and they read it to me for free . The code that came up was P0715 system too rich. When they checked it on the computer it read turbine speed sensor circuit malf. Does anyone have any suggestions? I don't know if the code is related to the problem or just a coincidence, sorry about the spelling. Any help greatly appreciated. I would like to take care of this myself, and leave the trusty ford garage out of it.
