A goal achieved
I have watched over the past two years with all of you folks working on your projects and enjoyed seeing your milestones. It is nice to see one of my own. It is rather bittersweet in that Joey wasn't able to be here to see the completion of his car. There must be some other plan that I don't know yet that I need to be open minded to.

way to go G.U. ..... I remember the feeling
although it's been a long time ago. I've tried to set points along the way to mark progress, but I keep erasing them and moving them and deleting some of them all together..while adding others that weren't in the original plan at all. ( Mustang II ??? pffffth... who can afford a M II IFS??
) But I have made a few marks on the wall and they give you incentive to continue.. roll around in this one and get the smell all over you... drag your neighbors over and make them stare in complete misunderstanding of what is so dang important.... call your brother and tell him about it....
if you're like me the next one might be a long way off... baske in the glory...
good job ( you've added to your C.Q. cool quotient)
John
alright everybody... give Lynn an attaboy
Fenders, I don't have any intentions of canabalizing the car for the F-1. I have been amassing the parts for two years to put the F-1 together and will start preparing pieces in stages to get the truck running. Yes Joey would have had a good time too knowing that he again had a car that was faster than big brother's. The past few days have been difficult because I did so much want him to realize some of his dreams. His ultimate dream machine was a 68 Olds 442 and we had located one last summer and were preparing to get it last fall when he pasted away. His best friend had an agreemant with Joey and has decided to donate $500.00 to the acquisition of the Olds and we as a family, his two brothers and I will build that car in honor of him. The F-1 is one of my priorities for the summer after I complete the boat I have been restoring since 98. Yes I know all about setbacks and detours along the way. It makes us aprreciate it all the more when it is completed.
John, I wish to say that each day I think of you and your family and offer a prayer that the Lord be with you all and that the medical staff working with your grandson has the wisdom, skill and compassion and that a miracle can be preformed in his recovery. May the Lord bless you all.
