No "4X4 Lo" light in the instrument cluster?

I have a "4X4 Hi" light that comes on when I shift my in dash 4X4 selector **** to the "4H" position, but when I shift to the "4L" position, the amber light in the instrument cluster doesn't change, it still says "4X4 Hi". Is there a light for the "Lo" that mine isn't switching to or is this normal? Also, I can't really tell a difference when I switch to "Lo", and I'm worried that it's not switching at all. Any ideas or experiences with this fellas/gals?

You have to make sure the truck is stopped completely and in neutral. Look in the owners manual and it will tell you how to ****ch from 4X4 High to 4X4 Low. You should also feel a difference in the gearing of the truck in 4X4 low. At least my Screw FX4 feels different.

Mine won't go into 4 Low unless the transmission is in Park or Neutral and the brake is depressed. When it's in 4 low, you'll know it.

I guess I was stopped and in Drive when I tried last time. I tried it while in neutral with the brake depressed and it did indeed go into 4 low.

Thanks everyone that posted.
