57 - 60 P/S Conversion Horn Wire

Well, the toyota gearbox, 302 pump & bracket and u-joint are in. How do I Make the original horn button work - the wire originally goes downt he center of the hollow steering shaft and exits the gearbox. Now, it can't. Has anone worked thios through?

This is one of the Flaws I Attempted to Warn you about w/ this Conversion when you first Asked about which of them was the Better one to use.
That's why I explained that the Original Style P/S used by FoMoCo would be the better bet.
All because one like yours was installed in mine even after I had asked that the Original Type P/S system be used, now the Bloody after market Horn Button resides @ the Base of the Steering Column almost out of reach.
As soon as we can figure out how to Fix it on mine I'll let you know.

Toyota P/S conversion vs. stock horn button

The answer was buy a Grant nolstalgia wheel and install kit w/for horn button for about $100 more than buying a NOS wheel and doing the engineering. Glad I went to a good school and studied so I could afford and after -market steering wheel.

Glad your After-Market purchasing capabilities works for you, though that does Not work for Me fore I don't care for the Grant products one whit.
