Well it's official i saw a commercial for the new Honda truck called the Ridgeline.
It has 4 drs and it's a 4x4 apparently it has a trunk under the bed floor. It did not say what type of engine it has.

It's a 3.5L v6 mounted longitudinally because we all know how trucks needed more weight in the front. And it's AWD.

I think Nissan's turned out to be a dud. Honda might have better quality, but who wants a truck with a bed only big enough to carry your lunch bag. I'll stay with my Fords. They're big and strong and get the job done.

It's not just the bed size, it's the options. The Honda gives you one body style and one drivetrain. Nissan gives you 2 choices: extended cab or crew cab. If you want a dually, stepside bed, single cab, or any choice in engine, you're plumb out of luck.

LoL. So true 150Ford. Neither would I.

I saw the Ridgeline at the autoshow with my friend. It had an ATV in the back, and it was getting more attention than the truck itself. This thing is just sad. After looking at the Rams, and F-serries, then looking at this truck.....I don't know weather to laugh or cry. Its too small, fugly, and is a unibody. Big mistake there Honda. i don't see what market this truck is aimed for at all.

Just my .02 on that.

I was also surprised to see a Nissan Tiatan priced at 46,000. And the kicker was that it was like a base F-serries or Ram truck. Im talking like lowest of the low in trim. And for 46,000.........I was stunned to see that pricetag on there.

What are you smoking? The Nissan is rated high right now and beats the F150 in many areas. A Dud? lol

Was that price in Canadian? Because the Titan loaded only goes for 30k max.

Yes the price was Canadia. Sorry for not pointing that out in my previous post. And I will agree with a previous poster on the Titan being a dud. I simply can't see it being a threat to any US truck maker. Its overpriced, ugly IMO, and Always use the complete word..Japanese Edited by Admin made. Which isn't always bad. But when it come to trucks.....leave it in the US please.

That honda truck looks like a girl ride. they can put their umbrellas and tanning oil in the bed, cause thats all its gonna fit, and haul! I'd rather have my 5000 pound Ford. Feels safer than being in that little thing. hell it even looks safer.
If thomasm67 was right thats FUNNY! WHO PUTS A TRUNK IN A PICKUP TRUCK?

3.5L V6 makes 255 horsepower at 5750 rpm and 252 lb-ft of torque at 4500
252 at 4500? what good is 252 at 4500RPMS??? that thing couldn't tow my truck up a hill!

I don't think it really qualifies as a truck. It is unibody construction and it's AWD system is primarily a FWD that only activates the rear when needed. It is loosely based on the Honda Pilot. It is beefed up from the pilot but uses similar architecture. The trunk thing under the bed floor just screams grocery getter, although I admit it would be kinda handy. Definately not for anything resempling work.

It's a Pilot conversion just like the Avalanche is a Suburban conversion. Also, remember the Pilot is based on the Honda minivan. So in the end, it's a soccer mom "truck".

Please back your statements up with facts. Because the Titan is not overpriced. It is actually cheaper than the competition and you get more for your money. It obviously is making a impact, because its sales are going up, and Fords are going down. It's 100% designed and american made. More than the Fords,Chevy,Dodge.

Right, thats why they let US people design the truck and build it.
