vin# and tinted glass questions

I have a 66 f100 for parts and was wondering if someone could trace these #'s for me?f10bl850957, color b, body L81, trans c,axel 09, thanks alot. also this truck appears to have tinted glass in all the windows, was this a option? The windshield has like a scuff mark where the drivers side wiper rubbed, is there anything anyone can recommend to get this out?I'm needing this glass for my 63 uni. I know this is alot of questions but thanks alot.

Here's what I've got

F10BL850957

F10= F-100 2wd
B= 300 6cyl
L= michigan truck plant
850957= Numerical number of assy, 1966 year

Color B= Turquoise
L81=
L= Medium Green chrush vinyl and green cody patternwoven plastic interior
81= Standard cab?
Trans C= 3 speed ford column shift
Axle code 09= 3.70 ratio, 9 inch Ford rear

Yes, tinted windows were an option that was available.

Hope this helps.

They do make some stuff to polish glass. I don't know if it will get it all out. Stop at a local auto glass shop and ask. They should know.

Believe it or not the best things to use is either, Bon Ami or Just plain Colgate toothpaste. I have taken some serious scuffs out with these products. Take your time and it will amaze you with the outcome. After you have completed the polish process clean the windows with Rubbing Alchohol or RainX. They will be just like new!

If you have a buffer, use it. I use the white polishing compound and lots of water to keep it lubed. It will come out looking like new. Put a good coat of Rain-X on it, so you do not have to use the wipers as much to keep it from scratching again!
