Post Are Audiobahns any good?

I've had a couple systems, and im looking to put one in my 99 F150 extended cab. I want something pretty good but not really expensive. The audiobahns look pretty good, have nice features (such as a built in fan for the amp), and my friend's 2-12s sound pretty good. Does anyone have any experience with audiobahns or is there something you feel is better. (ive already had experience with sony, pretty good).

Yea I have 2 12" Audiobahn's and they sound awesome.

One question, when you put ur system in the ext. cab are you just gonna put the box on top of the back seat?

well i really want to be able to put them under the seat, so im probably going to go with 2-10's or 4-8's and if i need to ill make a bracket to make the seat a little higher. If i cant get them to fit under there i dont know what ill do. Its kinda nice to keep the seats open!

If you are looking to put the subs under your seat, these are designed to do just that.

And im sure you will be able to find a better price on them with a little research. Hope that helps.

Heres a better price on them. Saving a few bucks is always a good deal.

Those are pretty good, but if you're interested in something a little higher quality..

I think those things are just cool. Anyways Audiobahns are good, I 2 12"s and they're rated 600 watts RMS each. They sound really good too. I'm thinking about selling mine in a few months to get 2 12" JL W7's, or 2 12" Eclipse SW9122. I can't decide which yet.

i personally wouldn't put audiobahn stuff in the same category as either of those two subs. they aren't made with the same quality. and from what i've heard i think they sound alittle sloppy and undefined were as the w7 and eclipse will hit every note accurately and just as loud. but at twice the price, my .02

I have 2 "regular" 10's under the rear bench of my supercab F150. You don't have to get special subs for them to fit, the design of the box is what determines that. Although those subs do look like high quality stuff.

yeah, i figured that youd probably be able to do that, but i was kinda hesitant since some subs are deeper than others and the boxes add a little. What type are your 10's?

Mine are some cheap Hollywood Excusions. They were free so you can't beat that, plus they actually sound pretty good. I'll upgrade to some JL's once I kill these.

I was just saying the Audiobahns sound good, especially for the price, and they get loud. I'm upgrading my whole system to Eclipse and JL and Focal, and they are deffinately higher quality than Audiobahn, Kicker or whatever.. there is no comparison.

If your putting them under the seat I think that you would like the Audiobahn AW1000Q's. I've got them in a box I bought off ebay and its sits under the seat without a lift or anything. 700 watts rms isin't bad. Your just gonna need a nice audiobahn amp to run them

Audiobahn amp would be good, but these subs would produce a clearer sound with something like a JL amp.
