Help-Computer Codes 628,634

I pulled the following codes from my 93 f150/5.8

628-Excessive Converter Slippage
634-Manual Lever Position Sensor Out of Range

What do these codes mean? What needs to be fixed?

It means you will more than likely have to take it to a transmission shop and have the torque convertor and the MLP sensor replaced. I would try resetting the computer first and see if the problem returns.
